I hate things like this, because yeah we can hate on Victoria’s Secret for only showing thin girls, but where are the thin girls in Dove’s campaign? Thin is real too and it’s beautiful just the same. Each of those shows only one body type so essentially they send the same message. Neither of these is better than the other.

This is true, except that the entirety of the media is a statement of approval for thin people.
